Hazmat crews are in Pennington Gap after authorities there say a meth lab exploded in an apartment building.

Sheriff Gary Parsons says it happened around 2:30 this morning on Kentucky Street, across the street from the Pennington Gap Police Department. He says that explosion caused a fire.
