Ann began her television news reporting career at WNGM-TV in Athens following graduation from the University of Georgia. She reported for KRBC-TV in Abilene, Texas, before joining the News 5 Team in 1992 as the Today's Family Health Reporter. Ann became the anchor for News 5 at Noon and Live at 5:30 three years later, and she joined the News 5 Team at 6:00 and 11:00 in March, 2005.   Ann is from a large family and considers herself fortunate to live close enough to be able to spend a lot of time with them. She is very active in her church, and says the best thing about being part of the News 5 Team is working with people who are mutually supportive and treat one another like family. A lifelong music fan, Ann enjoys the outdoor festivals that can be found in the region during the warm months.
