Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport is getting assistance with some much needed projects. Orth Construction is pitching in free of charge on several projects. That includes completing an enclosure at the Raptor Center and updating the caretaker's cabin.
The Park Association says if they had to pay for this work it would cost thousands of dollars. "Their donation is going to allow us to focus our money more so on caring for the animals, upgrading park exhibits, maintenance items we still need to address," said Rob Cole with Bays Mountain Park.
Orth Construction says they chose to do these projects at Bays Mountain because it's a park residents region-wide come to enjoy. They say it's their way of giving back to the community.
