A 16-year-old boy died Saturday evening after a motorcycle crash on Diana Road in Kingsport.

Kingsport Police say the accident happened just before 6:30 p.m.

We've learned the 16-year-old lost control of his motorcycle, ran off of the road and hit a stop sign.

He was taken to Holston Valley Medical Cener, where he later died.

Police are not releasing the victim's name at this time.
